Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Kre8tors Blog Hop. We are a group of Global Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who get together and bring you inspiration via our blogs. You may have hopped over from Anne’s blog and her lovely project or you may have come direct to me, either way grab a cuppa and put your feet up and enjoy the hop!

Each each month we have a different theme and today we are making a card using a sketch. Now the measurements on the sketch relate to the US sized card but I have used the standard A5 card scored in half giving you a 10.5 x 14.8cm card front. Then the layers reduce down by 0.5cm.

For my card I decided to turn the sketch design upside down and then use the Let’s Set Sail Bundle (157906) and Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper.(159982).

So rather than having a split layers of card etc, I have chosen to use the lovely DSP, which have layers within the pattern. The sentiment is slightly longer than the sketch but the compass (which is from the Sailing Home (149457) is the perfect for the size. The first layer is the Night of Navy Blue Foil 12″ x12″ Specialty Paper set (159983). Then the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels (159396) just finished the card off.

I hope that you like my interpretation of the sketch and that I’ve inspired you to pair up Set Sail stamp set and DSP together. Now it is time for you to hop over to Deb’s Blog by clicking onto the next button, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you leave.
