Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors Blog Hop where a group of international Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are getting together to show case projects which the theme is “Masculine”. You may have hopped over to me from Sandra and her fabulous project or perhaps you started with myself, so grab a cuppa, put your feet up and enjoy!
I have decided make a double easel card using the Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies.
I have embossed Whisper White Card with the new and fabulous Old World Paper £D Embossing folder, this was then inked using a sponge brayer. You could of course use patterned paper instead but beware of directional patterns when cutting. But I love how the inked card looks like waves.
The boat and anchor were stamped, coloured and then cut out with coordinating dies. Elements were cut in card, some of which were sponged with ink. A rhinestone was added to the middle of the wheel. I have also used mat and layering dies from the Stitched So Sweetly set.
Images were again stamped on the inside panel and coloured in using inkpad and aqua painter but you could use another medium such as stampin’ markers, Stampin’ Blends or Watercolour pencils.
My YouTube tutorial on how I made my card can be found by clicking on image below. Please subscribe if you wish to receive notification of future videos I upload.
I hope that you like my card and that I have inspired you to make a double easel card which is fantastic for all occasions. Now it is time for you to hop over to Laura by clicking next for more beautiful projects but before you go please leave a comment.
