Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today myself and a group of global Demonstrators are showcasing “Techniques” as part of the Kre8tors monthly blog hop. You may have joined me from Sandra and her lovely project. So sit back with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.
I thought I would show the Curtain Drape Fancy Fold which makes a stunning card with our beautiful Designer Series Paper. I have used the retiring All My Love paper which is perfect for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding’s and Valentines.
To make the drape you will need 12″x12″ DSP which has been cut to 4″x11.8″. This is then scored at 3″, 4″, 6″, 7″, 9″ and 10″. The paper is then cut diagonally from the 3″ score line to about 1″ from the top as per photo below.
Fold the score lines then flip the paper over and apply tear tape across the top. Flip paper back and then apply liquid adhesive to the drapes to keep them flat.
Classic Weave Ribbon was torn to make it thinner which also left a fringe. With the left over ribbon threads tie a bow and attach with a mini glue dot. Attach the ribbon to the DSP before adhering to the Soft Sea Foam mat card which is then glued onto the Flirty Flamingo base card.
Decorate card with cut out DSP flowers and die cut circle from Stitched Label Framelits. Yellow Share What You Love Artisan Pearls was used on the flower and the sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.
I hope that you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and liked my card. Now it is time for you to hop over to Su’s blog for more inspiration but don’t forget to leave me a quick comment before you leave..
