Hello and welcome to the Ink, Stamp, Share Blog Hop and to my Blog, if this is the first time of visiting. You may have hopped over from Michelle or perhaps you have started with me. We are group of Stampin’ Up Demonstrators who love to share creativity through monthly Blog Hops. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that we are able to pre-order new products so the theme for this month is all about sneak peeks from the up and coming January – June 2022 Mini and Sale-a- Bration catalogues which will be available as from the 4th January.
I have chosen to use the lovely Tulip Fields Bundle (157684) which consists of Tulip Fields stamps and Windmill Field dies. I live in Suffolk, UK and we have a number of old windmills locally and so I thought this would be a perfect set for different occasions and for any gender cards. However, for my card, I have been inspired by another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Berdien Weideveld, who created a stunning card in the blue and whites in the Delft Pottery Style. My Mum loves Delftware and will love this Birthday card.
I have embossed the In Good Tastes Designer Series Paper (152494) with the Painted Textured 3D folder (151474), which was then mat and layered on Misty moonlight (153086) and then onto a Thick Basic White base card (15230). The windmill dies have been used with a mixture of Misty Moonlight and Basic White (159228) and then the tulips in Balmy Blue (147007) cardstock. The clouds were stamped in Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ ink (147105) onto Basic White card and then die cut out.
Basic Border Dies (155558) were cut in Misty Moonlight cardstock as was the fences to create a garden. Basic Rhinestones finished off the card nicely. The sentiment came from a new Sale-a-Bration stamp set Friendly Hello (159990) which is a bundle with beautiful Designer Series Papers.
I hope that I have inspired you with Windmills and now it is time for you to hop over to Karen for more creative ideas by clicking he next button. But before you leave please do leave a comment as i do like to receive feedback.
