Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Jacqui and I am an Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in the UK. Today I am taken part in the Kre8tors Blog Hop which is Valentines and Love. You may have joined me from Ilonka’s blog and her fab creations.
I have chosen to revisit the Window Box Thinlit dies to make a cute box and a matching card.
I took my colour combination from the beautiful All my Love Designer Series Paper of Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White.
I love how quick and easy you can make this cute hexagon box using the dies. There is also a choice of three decorative window panels to use. Being the month love I have used the heart panel. This was cut using Shimmery White and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets. The hearts from the foil were used as inserts for decoration. I have also used a label from the Stitched Label dies. The Foil Sheets are one of the fabulous FREE products you can earn Free with a qualifying £45 order.
I wanted the card to tie in with the box so again I used the heart panel but this time cut it out from Whisper White Card to match the DSP. On both projects the panel has been layered up using the layering square dies and the word love is from the new Well Said dies which can be found in the Spring/Summer catalogue. There is also a coordinating stamp set which also comes as a bundle with a 10% saving. A little bit of Polka Dot Whisper White Tulle Ribbon finishes the card off nicely.
