Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Jacqui and I live in a rural village in the County of Suffolk in the UK. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors blog hop for March. This is the last month of Sale-A-Bration 2019 (where you can earn free products on a qualifying £45 order) a group of international demonstrators are showcasing projects using products from the SAB range. You may of hopped over to me from Laura so put your feet up with a cuppa and enjoy our hop.
I have chosen the Home to Roost set as I think this is perfect for cards as well as 3d/home decor projects.
Just over a year ago I made some coasters for onstage team gifts and I thought that I would revisit my leftover coasters with this set. I stamped the cockerels on Whisper White Card with Momento black ink and coloured the images using my often over looked Water Colour Pencils. ( I managed to find some photos of painted plates to get some ideas for the different colours of the birds).
Because the acrylic coasters only take one layer of card I knew I couldn’t do a mat and layer however I needed a boarder of some sort so chose the lines from the new stamp set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, Incredible Like You. The colours I used were Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody. The FAB-U-LOUS Stamparatus helped immensely with my stamping, but you can use normal clear blocks instead.
The coasters would make a great Birthday, Father’s Day or even New Home gifts and they were so quick and easy to make. For your information I have listed the products I have used below.
I hope that you have enjoyed my project today and now it is time for you to hop over to Sandra’s blog by clicking the Next button below.
