Ink. Stamp.Share Blog Hop- Dec 19 Christmas-

Hello and welcome to my first Ink, Stamp and Share blog hop. This is where global demonstrators showcase different projects using Stampin’ Up! products. This month is “Christmas” which I’ve been looking forward to and the Christmas jumpers are ready to wear. You may have hopped over to me from Sandra and her lovely festive decoration or you may have started with myself. So put your feet up with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I have decided to share with you two projects I have made using the Brightly Gleaming Speciality Paper. Firstly I used the Christmas Countdown Advent Calendar Project Kit. (150703.) This is a very popular kit and perfect for hiding all sorts of treats in. It comes with a pre made boxes and background papers and various stickers to decorate your boxes in the traditional red and green colours.

You can also use stamped images to add to your boxes

However you can use the reverse of the boxes to decorate with papers and photos. This means you can use it for non Christmas events or even as a storage unit for your small craft supplies. I used one of the original background squares to trace round and used a 1 inch punch to make the indent at the top. I then cut strips of card into squares and then used the template to make sure I punched in the correct place. I used papers, card, copper foil along with various stamps, dies, embossing folders punches to decorate. I have had loads of lovely comments from everyone who has seen it.

For my next project I decided I needed to update a Christmas card planner which I made a few years ago. It was from a tutorial that I found on the internet unfortunately I can’t remember the ladies name.

A great way to use up backing card from the DSP packaging for the front and back covers.

I just made a front and back cover using the backing card from the DSP packaging, covering the outer sidess in DSP and the inner sides with card. I then decorated the front with stamps, dies and copper foil. Two holes were punched and copper trim is tied to rings which keep the book together.

Using excel I created a table so that I can keep track of names, addresses, cards that I’ve sent and have received. This will last me for 5 years before the sheets need to be replaced. You can make this any size you wish and would make a perfect gift.

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made. Some of the products I have used are from the Autumn/Christmas catalogue and are therefore unavailable. We have a fantastic range of products which I am sure will inspire you to create your own version. It is now time for you to hop over to Cindy for more Christmas inspiration.

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop – Christmas- Nov 19

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. If you haven’t visited me before let me introduce myself to you, my name is Jacqui and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator living in a rural village in the UK. You may have hopped over to me from Colleen and her lovely layout or maybe have started directly here, So gab yourself a cuppa and put your feet up and enjoy the rest of the hop.

This month the theme is the C word, Yes it;s CHRISTMAS, one of my favourite times of the year. So I have used the gorgeous Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper and Snowman season stamp set and punch bundle.

I love the glittered snowman paper which has an image which coordinates with the snowman punch and the others are easy to fussy cut.. I also used the duo ornament punches for decoration and then finally die cut the title from Merry Christmas Dies.

I hope you have liked my layout and that I have inspired you to look at these lovely papers and bundle. Now it is time for you to hop over to Cindy for more festive inspiration. I have listed the products I have used further down the blog. Please remember to leave a comment before you leave.

Ink & Share Blog Hop Oct 19 – FALL

Hello my name is Jacqui and I am a Uk demonstrator. Today I am taking part in a global scrapbook blog hop. You may have joined me from Karen and her lovely page or you may have started off with myself. The theme this month is Fall/Autumn. So put your feet up and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I chose a picture of my daughter waiting to wave me off on my travels from Thetford Bus Station to a Stampin’ Up! convention in Mainz, Germany, 2012. It’s strange that I will be heading to to Dortmund, Germany for Stampin’ Up! Onstage in a month’s time!

The paper for the leaves were kindly donated by my fabulous upline Sandra Roberts, who recently showcased the re-inker technique using foil. She dropped drops of ink onto a sheet of foil and then sprayed the colours with water, then laid the watercolour card onto of the ink until completely cover. Once the card is dried you get this lovely range of colour. I was then able to cut the leaves out using Seasonal Layer dies. The Title was using the Hand-Lettered Prose alphabet dies.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog today, I have listed the products I have used further down for your information Please leave a comment below before you hop over to Shirley for more inspiration.

Kre8tors Blog Hop Oct 19 – FALL

Hello and welcome to my blog, If this is your first time my name is Jacqui I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from the UK. Today I am taking parting in the Kre8tors blog hop which the theme is “Fall” (or as we say in the UK “Autumn”). You may have joined me from the lovely Caroline. So I have decided to use my much neglected First Frost stamp set to make a set of note cards

Although smaller than our regular cards they still make beautiful cards for all occasions. The Autumn colours I have chosen are from the Regals Colour Family are Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze. I have stamped images on the base card and on whisper white card which has then been cut either with the coordinating dies or by free hand. The images that have been cut out have been curled to give dimension using long nosed tweezers or bone folder. I have also used the label dies from Frosted Bouquet Dies.

For the third card I have cut the label from the stitched label dies. The background was made by using a spritzer distressing tool which you can buy online but you can also create this technique by flicking the brush tip on the marker pen or one of our background stamps. Lastly I added Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins, although I used daffodil delight flowers they look well matched to the crushed curry ink and cardstock..

I hope that you’ve enjoyed your visit to my blog. I have listed the products i have used below the roll call. Now it is time for you to enjoy the rest of the hop by hopping over to Tracey Marie. by clicking next. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you leave.

Colour Combo Blog Hop – Oct 19

Hello and welcome to my blog.. My name is Jacqui and I live in a small rural village in Suffolk, UK. This is the first time I have joined in the Colour Combo Blog Hop and I look forward to seeing everyone’s projects. You may have joined me from Helzie and her lovely project or you may have started here. So put your feet up and enjoy the rest of the hop.

Although Autumn is now upon us I decided to to used the Butterfly Gala Stamp set and coordinating punch. These were stamped in Lovely Lipstick and Momento Black ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. A layer of Very Vanilla card was run through a die cutting machine using the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder..

Using daubers I sponged areas of the card with Lovely Lipstick, Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green ink. Because I didn’t have any matching ribbon I used Gold Metallic Edged and Very Vanilla Ribbon. I then used the Light Lovely Lipstick Blend Pen to colour it. The blend pens are perfect for adding colour to ribbon, rhinestones, pearls and other accessories to colour co-ordinate. This was attached to cardstock before adhering down to the mat layer cards.

I stamped the sentiment in Momento Black ink and then die cut layers using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Lastly I used Pearls to decorate the butterflies and label.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog.. Product details are listed after the roll call. for your information. Before you hop over to Sue (by clicking on the next button) for more inspiration please leave me a comment.

Kre8tors Blog Hop – Brides & Babies- September 19

Hello, My name is Jacqui and I am a demo from the UK and I welcome you to my blog if this is your first visit. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors monthly blog hop with a group of talented demonstrators from around the globe. This month’s theme is Bride & Babies which is will be interesting as my babies are 17 and nearly 15 however I think I have managed to come up with an idea! You may have joined me from Ximena and her lovely project so sit back, relax with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I decided to make a card & a gift box using the set Fable Friends. As a total Peter Rabbit fan I decided to step outside my comfort zone from using the rabbit and use the family of ducks.

I have also fallen in love again with the notelet cards with envelopes. Although smaller than a regular card they are perfect for all occasions. I did a mat and layer of Daffodil Delight Card, the spotty paper from the Bird Ballard Designer Paper and Whisper White Card. the smaller layers were die cut using the Stitched Rectangles & Shaped dies. I frayed the Flax Ribbon which was adhered to the DSP. The image was stamped in Memento Black and then coloured in using Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Petal Pink. The grass was stamped in Granny Apple Green using a stamp from Winter Woods.

The Pizza Box makes a quick and easy gift box. I replicated the layers I did on the card but also stamped, coloured and fussy cut the Mummy Duck. All four sides were layered with the Daffodil Delight Card and DSP.

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made today. I have listed the products I have used Further down for your information. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you hop over to Cheryl and her lovely project for more inspiration.

Kret8tors Blog Hop-Colour Challenge “Farms”August 19

Hello, My name is Jacqui and I am a demo from the UK and I welcome you to my blog if this is your first visit. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors monthly blog hop with a group of talented demonstrators from around the globe. This month is a colour challenge “Farms”. You may have joined me from Jan and her lovely project so sit back, relax with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I love the colours used in this challenge and the picture is stunning don’t you think? I have decided to use the Free as a Bird, Winter Woods and Making Christmas Bright stamp setsSorry if it’s too early for Christmas or the fact I’ve not used anything from my Autumn/Winter catalogue preorder (which I received  last week). But this design is a stepped up version of a card I will be demoing at WI (Women’s Institute) on Wednesday.

I used a scrap of paper as a template for the snow by tearing it then brayered Highland Heather and Petal Pink ink on the Whisper White card mat. I then stamped the trees in Early Espresso ink using the fantastic Stamparatus for repeat stamping, although you can use a normal acrylic block if you wish. The greeting is from Making Christmas Bright set which is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

An oval was cut in Whisper White card with a die from Stitched Labels. The birds were stamped in Early Espresso and then water coloured with pencils as Robins. Dazzling Diamond Glitter and Wink of Stella added some sparkle.

I used Grey Granite card for the base card and then cut a mat and layer of Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. Finally the oval was layered on the card over a twist of Silver Metallic Thread with dimensionals.

Cards to be made at WI

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made today. I have listed products I have used further down for your information. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you hop over to Rebbecca-Jo and her lovely project for more inspiration.

Kre8tors Blog Hop – Floral – July 19

Hello, You may have joined me from Linda and her lovely project. My name is Jacqui and I am a demo from the UK and I welcome you to my blog if this is your first visit. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors monthly blog hop with a group of talented demonstrators from around the globe. This month’s criteria is “Florals”. So sit back and relax with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I was really pleased when I read that we were showcasing florals as I have been enjoying the new Daisy Lane stamp set and Medium punch with the lovely new in colours. I think the colours are some of my favourite in colours we have had especially Purple Posy and Seaside Spray!

Save 10% when you purchase the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Medium Daisy Punch as a bundle.

For my recent catalogue launch I made these cute KitKat boxes to include in the attendees goody bags. I found a great tutorial by Jini Merck which you can find HERE  All of the five in colours are included on each of the boxes.  They had a different coloured belly band which was then decorated.

The leaf was stamped with ink, tone on tone as a background.  The flowers were stamped in Seaside Spray ink and the centers were punched out of Purple Posy card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Terracotta Tile ink and punched with the Classic Label punch. I stamped the leaf from the Painted Harvest set in Pretty Peacock ink and finally added Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen ribbon which finished them off nicely.

The Daisy Lane Bundle also make lovely cards.
The extra products used were Stitched Rectangle Dies, Daisy Punch and Faceted Gems

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made today. I have listed products I have used further down for your information. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you hop over to Libby and her lovely project for more inspiration.

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop-Sketch Challenge-June 19

Hello and welcome to this months Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog. You may hopped over to me from Rebecca and her lovely layout or perhaps you started your hop with me. I am a UK demo based in rural Suffolk. This month’s hop is a page Sketch.

For this challenge I decided to use the Come Sail Away Suite. I knew the perfect photos to use. A couple of years ago I had lunch with my best friend at our local pub which happened to have a new sandpit!

I don’t like boats and it’s been 20 years since I last ventured on water so this was my perfect “Messing about on Boats” moment. We had such fun!

The Come Sail Away Suite is one of my favourites from the Annual Catalogue. Stamps & Dies(which come in a bundle with a 10% saving), bakers twine and trinkets.

Then there is the Memories and More Cards which are suitable for card making and scrapbooking. (Printed cards, lovely laser cut sheets and stickers are a must for all your crafting needs.

I hope that you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and that i have inspired you to look at this fabulous suite. I have listed the products I have used further below. Now it is time for you to hop over to Sue’s blog for more inspiration. Please leave a comment below before you go.
