Kret8tors Blog Hop-Colour Challenge “Farms”August 19

Hello, My name is Jacqui and I am a demo from the UK and I welcome you to my blog if this is your first visit. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors monthly blog hop with a group of talented demonstrators from around the globe. This month is a colour challenge “Farms”. You may have joined me from Jan and her lovely project so sit back, relax with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I love the colours used in this challenge and the picture is stunning don’t you think? I have decided to use the Free as a Bird, Winter Woods and Making Christmas Bright stamp setsSorry if it’s too early for Christmas or the fact I’ve not used anything from my Autumn/Winter catalogue preorder (which I received  last week). But this design is a stepped up version of a card I will be demoing at WI (Women’s Institute) on Wednesday.

I used a scrap of paper as a template for the snow by tearing it then brayered Highland Heather and Petal Pink ink on the Whisper White card mat. I then stamped the trees in Early Espresso ink using the fantastic Stamparatus for repeat stamping, although you can use a normal acrylic block if you wish. The greeting is from Making Christmas Bright set which is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

An oval was cut in Whisper White card with a die from Stitched Labels. The birds were stamped in Early Espresso and then water coloured with pencils as Robins. Dazzling Diamond Glitter and Wink of Stella added some sparkle.

I used Grey Granite card for the base card and then cut a mat and layer of Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. Finally the oval was layered on the card over a twist of Silver Metallic Thread with dimensionals.

Cards to be made at WI

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made today. I have listed products I have used further down for your information. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you hop over to Rebbecca-Jo and her lovely project for more inspiration.

Kre8tors Blog Hop – Floral – July 19

Hello, You may have joined me from Linda and her lovely project. My name is Jacqui and I am a demo from the UK and I welcome you to my blog if this is your first visit. Today I am taking part in the Kre8tors monthly blog hop with a group of talented demonstrators from around the globe. This month’s criteria is “Florals”. So sit back and relax with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I was really pleased when I read that we were showcasing florals as I have been enjoying the new Daisy Lane stamp set and Medium punch with the lovely new in colours. I think the colours are some of my favourite in colours we have had especially Purple Posy and Seaside Spray!

Save 10% when you purchase the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Medium Daisy Punch as a bundle.

For my recent catalogue launch I made these cute KitKat boxes to include in the attendees goody bags. I found a great tutorial by Jini Merck which you can find HERE  All of the five in colours are included on each of the boxes.  They had a different coloured belly band which was then decorated.

The leaf was stamped with ink, tone on tone as a background.  The flowers were stamped in Seaside Spray ink and the centers were punched out of Purple Posy card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Terracotta Tile ink and punched with the Classic Label punch. I stamped the leaf from the Painted Harvest set in Pretty Peacock ink and finally added Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen ribbon which finished them off nicely.

The Daisy Lane Bundle also make lovely cards.
The extra products used were Stitched Rectangle Dies, Daisy Punch and Faceted Gems

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have made today. I have listed products I have used further down for your information. Don’t forget to leave a comment before you hop over to Libby and her lovely project for more inspiration.

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop-Sketch Challenge-June 19

Hello and welcome to this months Ink and Share Scrapbook Blog. You may hopped over to me from Rebecca and her lovely layout or perhaps you started your hop with me. I am a UK demo based in rural Suffolk. This month’s hop is a page Sketch.

For this challenge I decided to use the Come Sail Away Suite. I knew the perfect photos to use. A couple of years ago I had lunch with my best friend at our local pub which happened to have a new sandpit!

I don’t like boats and it’s been 20 years since I last ventured on water so this was my perfect “Messing about on Boats” moment. We had such fun!

The Come Sail Away Suite is one of my favourites from the Annual Catalogue. Stamps & Dies(which come in a bundle with a 10% saving), bakers twine and trinkets.

Then there is the Memories and More Cards which are suitable for card making and scrapbooking. (Printed cards, lovely laser cut sheets and stickers are a must for all your crafting needs.

I hope that you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and that i have inspired you to look at this fabulous suite. I have listed the products I have used further below. Now it is time for you to hop over to Sue’s blog for more inspiration. Please leave a comment below before you go.

KBH – Dads & Grads-June 2019

Hello and welcome to my blog   You may have hopped over from Linda   and her great project or you may have started here with me.  If this is your first visit I am a Demo from the UK and today I am blog hopping with a group of talented Global Demos.  This month we are celebrating the Dad’s with Father’s Day coming up.  Although my Dad passed away 5 years ago it is a special time to remember those who are not with us as well as celebrating with my husband and our children.

So today I am showcasing a card which was well received at a recent Quick and Easy Card Class where we used the Sailing Home Bundle

The Sahara Sand mat card was embossed using the Pinewood Planks 3d folder. This folder had been overlooked until I realised it would work well with this suite. The Balmy Blue mat card was sponged with Craft Whisper White Ink. Everyone loved this simple technique.

The ropes and label were cut with Smooth Sailing new style dies. They were a dream to use as the framelits are so much easier to line up with stamped images. The sentiment (from the Well Said Stamp Set), lighthouse and birds (Sailing Home Stamp Set) were stamped in Night of Navy ink. The circle was from Layering Circles dies. A anchor from Sail Away Trinkets and Bakers Twine just finished off the card nicely. A list of products used can be found below.

I hope you liked my card and that I have inspired you to look at this lovely suite. Now its time for you to hope over to Sue for more inspiration. Don’t forget to leave a message before you leave.

Stamp n Hop – Hello to New Catalogue – June 19

Hello and welcome to the Stamp n Hop Blog Hop, you may have hopped to me from Jo and her lovely project or you may have come direct to me. I am joining a group of talented international demos and I am so excited as the theme is Hello to the 2019-2020 catalogue which means showcasing new products! Y So many lovely new products to choose from I was a bit overwhelmed as to what to use.

I must confess that I rarely choose one of the Hostess Sets as my Rewards but as soon as I saw the New Wonders set I knew I had to get it. Such a lovely whimsical set and it will be perfect for cards I have in mind for one of my best friends who has just had her first book published. However today I am showcasing a birthday card for another dear friend.

I coloured the stamp image in with blend pens and the smaller mat layers were cut out using the Rectangle Layering Dies. A stitched border was made on the blue strip of card by using the long die from Stitched Nested labels. Sentiment was stamped and cut out by the Circle Layering Dies. Silver Thread, Ribbon and Silver Glimmer Paper was added for the finishing touches. I have listed the products I have used for your information further below.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and that I have inspired you to choose this lovely set. Now it is time for you to hop over to Sharon’ blog for more inspiration but before you go don’t forget to leave a comment below.

Ink & Share Blog Hop – Goodbye – May 2019

Hello and welcome to my blog and to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog hop. I am a Independent Demo from the UK and live in a small rural village on the Suffolk /Norfolk border in the UK.

Today’s hop is about saying “Goodbye” to the products that we have come to love from the 2018/19 Annual Catalogue and Spring/Summer Catalogue. You may have joined me from Heike’s blog and her lovely layout.

I have chosen The Floral Romance Suite.

I chose a family photo which was taken on a holiday to Tunisia in 2012 and thought the Floral Romance Specialty Papers would work together. I love the papers especially the printed vellums.

I stamped the sentiment from Wonderful Romance Stamp Set and cut leaves (Floral Framelit Dies are unavailable but you could use the leaf punch or one from another die set). I will be sorry to see the Big Shot go as it is a must have in my craft stash. The Banner was Stamped from Pick a Pennant which was fussy cut as I don’t have the coordinating dies (Stamp set and Playful Pennants Die Bundle 148393). Rectangle Stitched Framelits made perfect labels for journaling. Finally I used Frosted Flower Embellishments to add some dimension and I’m pleased to say they will be in the new catalogue..

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and that you like my layout and I have inspired you to have a look at this lovely suite. Now it is time for you to hop over to Chery’s blog to see her lovely layout more inspiration but before you go don’t forget to leave a comment below.

KBH Theme: Techniques – May 2019

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today myself and a group of global Demonstrators are showcasing “Techniques” as part of the Kre8tors monthly blog hop. You may have joined me from Sandra and her lovely project. So sit back with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.

I thought I would show the Curtain Drape Fancy Fold which makes a stunning card with our beautiful Designer Series Paper. I have used the retiring All My Love paper which is perfect for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding’s and Valentines.

To make the drape you will need 12″x12″ DSP which has been cut to 4″x11.8″. This is then scored at 3″, 4″, 6″, 7″, 9″ and 10″. The paper is then cut diagonally from the 3″ score line to about 1″ from the top as per photo below.

Fold the score lines then flip the paper over and apply tear tape across the top. Flip paper back and then apply liquid adhesive to the drapes to keep them flat.

Classic Weave Ribbon was torn to make it thinner which also left a fringe. With the left over ribbon threads tie a bow and attach with a mini glue dot. Attach the ribbon to the DSP before adhering to the Soft Sea Foam mat card which is then glued onto the Flirty Flamingo base card.

Decorate card with cut out DSP flowers and die cut circle from Stitched Label Framelits. Yellow Share What You Love Artisan Pearls was used on the flower and the sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I hope that you have enjoyed your visit to my blog and liked my card. Now it is time for you to hop over to Su’s blog for more inspiration but don’t forget to leave me a quick comment before you leave..

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop- Masculine-April 2019

Hello and welcome to my blog and The Ink and Share Scrapbook blog Hop. Today we are showcasing Masculine layouts which I was pleased about because it’s my son Oliver’s 17th Birthday tomorrow. You may have joined me from Shirley’s blog and her great layout, so sit back with a cuppa and enjoy the rest of the hop.
Oliver has just bought his first car so I knew I had to use the Geared Up Garage Bundle of Stamps and Dies.

The only stamping was the car which was then coloured with Pacific Point Watercolour Pencil and a blend pen and the nuts which I stamped as part of the background.. The Designer Papers also match some of the dies, such as the cogs and petrol can which meant I didn’t have to fussy cut. The steering wheels were cut with the layering circle dies. The L on the learner plate was from the Large Letter Framelits. The key and spanner charms were attached using glue dots. As Oliver’s car is blue I needed to add some Pacific Point to the layout for the number (retired set but you can print and fussy cut them instead).

Oliver’s Hyundai I10 S

Please be aware that the following products are on the Retiring List and will be available until 3rd June or whilst stocks last. These are Letter Dies, Designer Paper and Ribbon.
I have listed the products I have used below for your information.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed your visit to my blog and my layout has inspired you to get this fab set. Please now hop over to by clicking the next button.
